DAY 01 /            ARRIVAL DELHI
Arrive Delhi, You will be meet & Greet by the local representative at the Delhi International airport and you would be transferred to your hotel where you will proceed for check-in.
DAY 02/              DELHI – SRINAGAR (BY FLIGHT)
After Breakfast, you will be transfer to Domestic Airport and catch 1 hour Flight to Srinagar Airport, you would be transferred to your Luxury Houseboat where you will proceed for check-in.   After Lunch you will After noon visit the famous Mughal Gardens of Nishat (Garden of pleasure) overlooking the crystal clear Emerald green waters of the Dal lake then to   Shalimar (Garden of Love) built by Mughal Emperors During Spring until Autumn these gardens are full of flowers. DAY 03     GULMARG EXCURSION (52 KMS)
Morning proceed for a picturesque drive to Gulmarg.  Gulmarg (Meadow of Gold) – It was discovered as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century. Prior to that, Mughal emperors vacationed in the Gulmarg valley which is about 03 kms long and up-to 01 km wide. It is exquisitely situated in a pine surrounded basin of the Pir Panjal range at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level and one of the most famous tourist destinations of Kashmir. It also has one of the world’s highest green golf courses with 18 holes, as well as a clubhouse, which is a historical building in its own right. One can enjoy Gondola ride or (Optional - Horse ride at Gulmarg) For a fun-filled ride of a most unusual kind, Gulmarg’s newly constructed gondola lift from high above Gulmarg, through pine-clad slopes is exhilarating. From Gulmarg a pony track leads upwards to Khilanmarg, Kangdori & seven springs, a couple of hours by pony longer on foot. Afternoon drive Later back to houseboats Evening Enjoy Shikara cruise on Dal Lake in Shikaras (local Gondola) visiting the Floating garden, Lotus gardens (summers), back waters of the lake, cruise will go through canals. DAY 04 /          SRINAGAR – KARGIL (VIA SONMARG) (220 KMS)
Post breakfast we drive to Leh via Sonmarg, One of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold) – It  is a place of enthralling beauty, lies in Sindh Valley, streamed with flowers, surrounded by mountains and perched at an altitude of 2690 m above sea level. Visited less frequently by tourists, it has as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a clear sky. It is a quiet alpine retreat surrounded with sycamore, silver birch, fir and pine trees and the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. It is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes.  In Sonmarg one can take a pony ride (Optional Horse Ride) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Upon arrival in Kargil we check in at our hotel for Dinner & overnight stay
DAY 05 /              KARGIL - ULEYTOKPO – (VIA LAMAYURU) (150 KMS)
Post breakfast we drive to Uleytokpo enroute visiting Lamayuru, Belongs to Dripung Kagyu (Red Hat) like Phyang. The oldest structure in Lamayuru is the Singey Lhakhang built by the founder of Alchi Lotsava Rinchen bzangpo in 11th century. After visiting Lamayuru we proceed further to Uleytokpo enrote visiting Ridzong Gompa, known as the paradise for Meditation. Upon arrival in Uleytokpo. We check in at our Camp for overnight Stay.
DAY 06 /   ULEYTOKPO – LEH (VISITING MONASTERIES) (60 KMS)
Post breakfast we check out from the Camp & Visit Alchi, Ladakh's most loved monastery and drive to Leh enroute visiting Basgo is certainly the most impressive of Ladakhi citadels despite its ruined state, Likir gompa situated atop a windy cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir & Phyang Gompa, located just 6 kms before Leh. Upon arrival in Leh you will met by our representative and check in at our hotel for overnight stay
DAY 07 /              LEH – NUBRA
After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.
DAY 08 /              NUBRA - LEH
After your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND DUNES to enjoy a camel safari, Later we drive to Leh by same route over Khardung La.  Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market.  Overnight at hotel.   Post lunch we take a sightseeing tour visiting Sankar Gompa, located at a distance of approximately 3 km from the town of Leh, Leh Palace is one of the most captivating architectural ruins that attract the attention of the tourists almost immediately with its majestic setting at the edge of the Namgyal hill and overlooking the town and at once looks like a reminiscent of Lhasa's Potala Palace. DAY 09 /              LEH – PANGONG LAKE  - LEH
After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable.  On the way back, visit Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Visit Thiksey, and Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh & Stok Palace Museum.
DAY 10 /              LEH – DELHI (BY FLIGHT)

Picnic on the way, night in tents.

Day 11 (June 22) Duhosha lake(3000м) - Alouddin passage(3800м) - Alouddin lakes(2750м). (time on the way 6-7 hours, 18 km)Breakfastt. Climbing and passing through alouddin passage, descent to Alouddin lakes.Picnic at the lake. Then excursion at the lakes.
Dinner and overnight in tents.

 Day 12 (June 23) Alouddin lakes– Hudjand-Oybek boarder.Breakfast. Descent to highway, transfer to Hudjand.(З50км,4-5hours) Lunch, then transfer to Oybek border, 90км, 1h30min. And of tour in Tadjikistan.
Meeting at Uzbekistan side. Transfer to Tashkent. Free time. Dinner. Overnight in Tashkent.

Currently, there are two of us confirmed on this trip. And a few others have expressed interest. This is only a short trek, but offers the excellent opportunity for a very memorable climb, and great photography when you see the sunrise over the crater lakes.

Join us on this trek up to the beautiful Mt Rinjani, located in Lombok island, Indonesia. This is a volcano with an altitude of 3,726m. In fact, there are three trekking routes to the summit. The view up there overlooking the lake Segara Anak Lake is spectacular!

Even if you have never trekked in your whole life before. It does not matter. Join us on this trek, and we will have some conditioning preparation before we embark on this wonderful journey, which will promise an adventure of a lifetime for you !

At the moment, my girlfriend and I had decided on the above dates as she could get her leave for that duration. And I am happy to be able to go as it is the one week school holiday for my eight-year-old boy. Should I bring him along?

You will need 4 days to attempt the trek up to this beautiful mountain. And the other few days, we will look into planning going to the nearby Gili Trawangan Island, and do some exploration of this little quiet island of Lombok, which is not so busy as Bali, its neighbour island.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel[1,300m]

Assemble at Changi Airport for your departure flight to Katmandu (1310m/4298ft). Welcome assistance at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel. Rest at the hotel some time and after that you will have a briefing regarding your trekking trip. O/N at hotel.

 

Day 02: Kathmandu Sight Seeing.

AM: You will meet your trekking guide, discuss the trekking program and coordinate any last-minute arrangements.

PM: With english speaking professional tour guide we visit Swaymbhunath, Pashupatinath,  and Patan Durbar Square. 

            - Swayambhunath, which is located 4 km from the centre of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is a best place to observe religious harmony between Nepalese Buddhists and Hindus. The stupa is one of the most ancient in this part of the world and its worshippers come from diverse ethical backgrounds. Situated on the top of a hill, it provides an excellent view of the Kathmandu Valley. Huge prayer wheels and fine Buddhist paintings are displayed in the monasteries as well as the largest Buddha statue in the country.

            - Pashupatinath, the holiest Hindu pilgrimage place in Nepal. It has received the attention of worshippers for at least fifteen hundred years. Dedicated to Shiva, the lord of Destruction, the temple is situated on the banks of Bagmati river. A circuit of the Pashupati area takes visitors past a sixth century statue of Buddha and eighth century statue of Brahma, The Creator, freshly painted skeletal images guarding temple gates, and other magnificent temples dedicated to vatious deities in the complex.

            - Patan Durbar Square. This place is a monastery with wall painting fourteenth century statues and ancient scriptures and also to see are the Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, The Mahaboudha Temple in Terra cotta and Oku Bahal. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu

Pokhara is located about 200 km west from Kathmandu and the tourist coach takes about 7 hours to get there. You will be driven to Pokhara in a private vehicle depending upon your group size. The drive mostly fallows along Trishuli River side enjoying the view of landscapes. At the Evening you may take short sightseeing around Pokhara city. The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek starts from Pokhara. Stay overnight.

 

Day 04: Drive Pokhara to Nayapul (1010m); Trek to Tirkhedhunga (1570m)

After breakfast in Pokhara at 7:30 drive to Nayapul where walking starts from. The drive takes approximately 45 mins  to Nayapul(42km) by private vehicle.Then trails leads up through the beautiful rice, maze and millet farms of locals. Following the main trail of Birethanti passed small waterfall. The trail reaches Sudami where you have Lunch. After lunch climb steadily side of valley you reach at Hile and after half an hour you reach at Tikhedhunga for over night stay .

 Day 05: Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani (2840m.)

In the morning breakfast will be served at hotel at 7:00am to be prepared for Ulleri (2070m) climb. The trail goes steep up for 1.5 hours through stone steps where the trail leads through cultivated fields Rest of trails goes through inside blooming rhododendron and Oak forest. Final climb to Nangethanti which will be your lunch spot in Nangethanti. Thanti is a Nepali words meaning "rest house" "Dharmasala". In the winter the trail can be covered with snow. After luch trek rests for about an hour. Then climb to Ghorepani at 2850m. O/N in Ghorepani.

Day 06: Ghorepani - Poon hill - Tadapani (2610 m.)

The most importand day of your trek early morning wake up and start your journey climb to Poon Hill (3210m) around 1 hr. to provides best majestic scenery and sunrise over the high mountains. Lot of white mountain can be seen from poon like Dhaulagiri [8167m], Annapurna South [7119m] Fishtail [6993m], Nilglgiri south, Singa chuli , Annapurna I [8091m] and many more peaks. You then come down to Ghorepani to have breakfast and trek to Tadapani for 6 hours. Trek leads mainly up and down hill through the forest. Stay overnight at Tadapani.

Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940 m.)

Right after breakfast at hotel your journey leads to Ghandruk which takes about 4 hours. The most cultural village the home of Gurung people. The trail mainly through forest and goes gentle down. Evening explore the Gurung museum to know about their traditional cloths and useful equipment. Stay over night at Ghandruk.

Day 08: Ghandruk to Nayapul ; Drive back to Pokhara, Fly Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Treks down to Nayapul through the cultivated fields in Modi khola valley. (4 hrs) and drive to Pokhara (1 hrs). Transfer to airport to catch your flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 09 : Kathmandu – Singapore.

Today, depart from Kathmandu for your flight back to Singapore.
