we booked this hotel because we got an amazing price and the location was great for access to our dive shop in town. we had fairly low expectations as the price was discounted 75% but were amazingly surprised. we are expats living in bangkok and this is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in thailand and asia! the rooms were large and very comfortable with large balconies, the grounds were beautiful, the included breakfast buffet was one of the best in thailand...beautiful home made dark breads and jams, make to order eggs, fresh fruit and real fruit juices, great coffee, real cheese and great breakfast meets. there were beautiful thai and asian foods on offer as well. the service was one of the best in asia as well and the views from the pool (which was also breathtaking) were amazing. beautiful beach. the atmosphere is truly exotic and very quiet and relaxing..even with the number of people there. plenty of very comfortable pool chairs. i had 2 massages, poolside which were great value and very good for thailand. we had a wonderful experience and were disappointed when we went to book for january that it was already full! so book early! you can't go wrong.
